Young Leaders Ski Day, Park City Mountain Resort

Young Leaders and their guests enjoyed a day on the slopes! Special thanks to Park City Mountain Resort for sponsoring this event!

Nordstrom Grand Opening Gala

United Way of Salt Lake's Womens Philanthropic Network (WPN) are the recipients of all proceeds for this fabulous event! Guests enjoyed the atmosphere of the beautiful new store where they experienced a shopping event with a live fashion show, fun music and delicious food and fun drinks. One fun detail of this event was the signature drink of the night, the "Murray Cocktail". Many Young Leaders attended the event, over $78,000 was raised. All of these resources will be directed to support the WPN Immigrant and Refugee Integration program expenses. Good time was had by all!

Lunch with a Leader

Young Leaders enjoyed lunch with Gary Peterson and David Sturt with O.C. Tanner Company. Young Leaders were entertained with learning more about the O.C. Tanner mission and able to learn about leadership and civic engagement from one of our communities best! Thank you O.C. Tanner!

Service Project, Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC)

Young Leaders stuffed 2000 financial resource packets for low-income working families. These packets will be passed out to local Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) sites. At these sites individuals and families receive help with filing their taxes. Many families are able to take advantage of the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) when filling their taxes. This is a credit that helps low income working families.
